I feel as though they cared enough to bill my insurance and anything after that, and I'm on my own.
All in all a pleasure to have take care of my teeth.
I had to cancel my second visit for an emergency, first time cancelling, and they wanted to charge even more than what was written in their contract. I had decided not to return to them but then they waived the fee and I rescheduled.
For that, I will not be returning to that facility.
Where they referred me, does not do extractions at all, nor do they accept my insurance.
Found this place in the summer of 2016 and went in for a check up the first time in too long of a time. The staff was friendly from the initial phone call appointment, to the scheduling of my next appointment.
They were nice to me in person, but as soon as I needed them to help me, they refused, regardless of the pain I was in.
I found someone who does, who is closer to my home, but when I called Ridge Road Dental Care, to ask them to fax a referral for me so I can get my tooth looked at by someone who accepts my insurance they said "he refuses to anyone outside of their suggested oral surgeons"
I had a cleaning which was fine. The wait was a little long and I kept checking to see if they had forgotten about me. The Dr. was very short with me and not very friendly but gave me brief quickened report and left.
Then they referred me elsewhere for a root canal, after I said I'd like the tooth removed.
The waiting room and work areas were clean, comfortable and professional. The cleaning was gentle and thorough. Dr. Emanuel made a few observations which I considered and followed through on one of them. The rest I have postponed for a later date which the staff noted politely.
I called with tooth pain to become a new patient. I told them I'd like them to extract the tooth because I'm in pain. During the appointment, their xray device was too big for my jaw and cut into my mouth.
I have been a patient at Ridge Road Dental Care for many years, and have had extensive dental work. The staff there are very friendly and courteous, and work very hard to get you in quickly if you have a problem. The Dentist is awesome, he truly cares about his patients and their comfort and evidently loves his job!
Second visit, I had to wait again but for less time, maybe 15mins this time, but the dentist filed my teeth down (correcting a filling he'd put in) without numbing me and kept going when I told him it hurt. No apology from him and no sympathy shown.
